Pay and morale: let us know your views
All Federation members are being asked to take part in the annual national pay and morale survey.
The findings of the survey, which is carried out by the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), are used in the Federation's submission to the Police Remuneration Review Body and also to support its negotiations with the College of Policing and other bodies, including chief officers and MPs.
Andrea Breeze, chair of Cleveland Police Federation, said: "You should receive an email to your PNN address in the next few days, if you haven't already, and I would urge you all to take the time to send your responses.
"Only by knowing the views of its members and having the evidence to support its arguments can the Federation truly represent the membership. The more members who fill out the survey, the stronger the evidence is."
Every year, PFEW invites its 123,000 members to take part in the pay and morale survey, which is the only survey to provide a national picture of officers' views on their pay and conditions.
The Federation sees it as an essential way to keep in touch with members' opinions so it can represent these to the Government.
The 2018 survey is open now and will close at 23:59 on 15 May 2018. All members are being sent an invitation email to take part - if you have not received your email by 12 April, please contact Andrea.
